GDPR & Account Deletion

Byakko lets you request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, in line with your right to erasure under the GDPR.

Requesting account deletion

  1. Sign in to the Portal.
  2. Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Danger zone section.
  4. Click Delete account and confirm by clicking Yes in the inline prompt.

Your account status changes to Deletion requested. An administrator will review and confirm the deletion within 30 days. You can still sign in and use Byakko while the request is pending.

Cancelling a deletion request

If you change your mind before an administrator has confirmed your request, contact your administrator. They can cancel the request from the Admin panel, which restores your account to Active status.

What happens after deletion is confirmed

Once an administrator confirms the deletion, your account and all associated data are permanently removed:

  • Account — your account record is permanently deleted.
  • Files — all assets you uploaded are deleted immediately, including their content in storage. Download links for your files will stop working.

Note: account deletion cannot be undone once an administrator has confirmed it. If you are unsure, ask your administrator to cancel the request instead.
